My daughter is going to go to the University of Alaska Fairbanks. We took a road trip from Soldotna to Fairbanks with the girls. It was a great trip. Set up high above Fairbanks, it has an amazing view. Everyone we met there was so nice and welcoming. I really think she will love it there. She'll be almost eight hours away, so I'll be sad. It's a little far, but at least she'll feel her independence some.
While there we met up with some old friends. In fact I used to stamp with her, so what did her and I do while the men talked...you better believe it. LOL! I showed her the stamparatus and we did a little stamping. Pulling out the Postcard Pals stamp set, she fell in love with it. She had never seem the Stampin Blends, so I showed her those too. I went ahead and let her have some samples of the new paper and a catalog.
I made this card using the Postcard Pals stamp set. Isn't he so cute?! I didn't have any idea what I was going to do with him, I just knew I wanted to color him.
For the sentiment, I colored the edges with the Bermuda Bay Stampin' write marker from the brights pack. Then I just cut it out with my trimmer and paper snips. I didn't measure it out, just eyeballed it.
The base is Granny Apple Green cut at 8"1/2 x 5"1/2, scored at 4 1/4
Natures Poem Designer series paper and that was cut at 5"3/8 x 4"1/8
The Basic Gray and Whisper White, I just eyeballed.
Here are some more pictures of our trip.
Of course we had to visit the North Pole! Then it was off to visit Santa's house and his reindeer.

Pioneer Park is located within Fairbanks. It's a cool park and a must see.
We stop for the night in Talkeetna on the way back home. Love this little town.
Here are the supplies I used for my card. Don't forget to visit my youtube channel, Jacquee Renfro. Like and subscribe. Thanks for visiting my blog. Make sure to follow me, so you don't miss out on what's happening.
