She's decided on UAF

My daughter is going to go to the University of Alaska Fairbanks.  We took a road trip from Soldotna to Fairbanks with the girls.  It was a great trip.  Set up high above Fairbanks, it has an amazing view.  Everyone we met there was so nice and welcoming.  I really think she will love it there. She'll be almost eight hours away, so I'll be sad.  It's a little far, but at least she'll feel her independence some.

While there we met up with some old friends.  In fact I used to stamp with her, so what did her and I do while the men talked...you better believe it.  LOL!  I showed her the stamparatus and we did a little stamping. Pulling out the Postcard Pals stamp set, she fell in love with it.  She had never seem the Stampin Blends, so I showed her those too.  I went ahead and let her have some samples of the new paper and a catalog.

I made this card using the Postcard Pals stamp set. Isn't he so cute?!  I didn't have any idea what I was going to do with him, I just knew I wanted to color him.

For the sentiment, I colored the edges with the Bermuda Bay Stampin' write marker from the brights pack.  Then I just cut it out with my trimmer and paper snips. I didn't measure it out, just eyeballed it.

The base is Granny Apple Green cut at 8"1/2 x 5"1/2, scored at 4 1/4
Natures Poem Designer series paper and that was cut at 5"3/8 x 4"1/8
The Basic Gray and Whisper White, I just eyeballed.

Here are some more pictures of our trip.

Of course we had to visit the North Pole!  Then it was off to visit Santa's house and his reindeer.

Pioneer Park is located within Fairbanks.  It's a cool park and a must see.

We stop for the night in Talkeetna on the way back home.  Love this little town.

Here are the supplies I used for my card.  Don't forget to visit my youtube channel, Jacquee Renfro.  Like and subscribe.  Thanks for visiting my blog.  Make sure to follow me, so you don't miss out on what's happening.

Our first trip of the summer!

A couple of weekends ago my kids and I went to Homer, Alaska to go "glamping".  If you didn't know yet, we live in the beautiful state of Alaska.  One of my favorite things to do as soon as the kids get out of school and summer hits, is to cruise around and camp in my motorhome.  While I was down there, I went ahead a filmed a video and cut it into two, so as not to bore you for too long.  It was so relaxing.  My kids painted rocks and my youngest road her bike every day while I walked.

In both videos I show you how you can use your stamparatus in a couple of different ways.

I also discovered something pretty cool while making the second card (shown in Part 2).  While using the new ink pads along with the blender pens, the paper didn't pill up.  I was using the regular whisper white by Stampin' UP! I'm going to keep using them to see if I have the same experience or if I just got lucky.  I'll let you know.

Happy Memorial Day Weekend Everyone!

Hello Crazy Stampers,

I've had such a busy couple of weeks.  My daughter has graduated from high school and we had a big celebration for her.  It was alot of fun, but sad for this momma.  I'm so proud of her.  She was accepted into the Aviation Mechanics program at the University here in Alaska.

I did have time to do a quick video for you the next day, after all the festivities were done.

I used the stamp set, Glamper Greetings, which is retiring May 31, 2018.  Seeing this camper here in my town inspired me to pull out this cute stamp set.

Memorial Day weekend is Alaska's kick off season for camping.  (Don't forget what Memorial Day is all about. Remember the ones who lost their lives for our freedom.)

Enjoy the video!  I look a little rough in this one. LOL!

Early release of my latest video!

My sister and I had an amazing time.  We went to dinner, and watched Cabaret.  (I had no idea it was so sad.)  Then we went and watched an 80's band.  So fun!!  This morning I took my mom to breakfast.  It was so nice to spend time with these two.  My sister leaves to go back to Massachusetts the end of the May, so I wanted to have some sister time.  Makes me sad she's leaving.  I've enjoyed having her be close.

Well enough of thinking about that sadness.  I was able to upload my latest video today while visiting my mom's.  Her internet is so much faster then mine.  Because of that, you are able to watch it early.  Congratulations on the happy news! lol!

My two girls decided they wanted to participate, so you'll get to see them in it.

Enjoy!

Sweet cupcake video 2 and 3

How many hours have I spent trying to download these videos?  The answer is sooooo many! LOL!  It's worth it though.  I'm getting to share what I love to do.

In between the stamping, I've been enjoying my youngest play soccer.  She's still too young to be pro (LOL!), but I think she's great.  My oldest will be graduating soon, so we have been busy getting her ready.  I'm going to miss her, even though she will only be 2.5 hours away.  I still can't believe in less then a month she'll be fleeing the nest.

Well I should let you know the measurements of each card, so I will give you my recipe.

Hello Crazy Crafters!

Hey guys, sorry I’ve been MIA the last few weeks.  I was getting ready for Onstage Las Vegas.  Which was AMAZING!!  I love being a part of a team that is so positive and supportive.  Another thing is the discount and getting access to things before everyone else. LOVE, LOVE!!  Plus we got to see the new catalog.  UMMMM AWESOME!!  The new colors and stamps are exciting!  I love the new ink pad design.  It is way easier.  Stampin'Up! really is an amazing company to be a part of. Love seeing all my friends who live all over the United States.  I can't wait to see them in Orlando.  Message me if you are interested in being a part of our team.  We have so much fun and have amazing events during the OnStages lives.  Plus you can work your business and little or as much as you like.  No pressure.  I joined as a hobbiest and now I'm doing this as a business, because I love what I do.  When you love it, people feel that and want to be a part of it.

After I left Vegas, I went to visit one of my best friends in Reno.  It was a quick visit, but so nice to see her and her family.

Then back home to get caught up on my house being at the mercy of my husband and children. LOL! It really wasn't that bad and my oldest is a huge help.  I needed to catch up on laundry.  Plus I needed to start spring cleaning. My craft room is a mess.  Then there's volunteering at my youngest's school and helping out at Girl Scouts.

So I put together a video for you.  It is LOOOOONNNNNNGGG!  I went ahead and split it into three different ones.  I decided to step in front of the camera.....SORRY. LOL!  I wanted to high lite one of my favorite stamp sets that is retiring...sad face.
I made 3 cards kinda on the fly, not really knowing what I wanted to do.  It was fun.  I think I may start doing LIVES on Facebook.  Speaking of Facebook.  I have a promotion going on this week.  Head over there and get the details....Crazy Paper Crafter.

Enjoy the first video of three.
